They were old…
…
They passed me on the street,
engulfed and almost hidden among the mass of people…
…
They were old and small…
But they did not seem to care…
…
They had just enough
taking care of them both…

Wonderful photo. I bet they have a story to tell.
I think you are right…I can see them very often, always together…
How lucky they are to have each other – old and alone, and invisible in our modern western society must be so lonely. Gorgeous shot Ilargie – no similarities with my parents, really, except great age (98/92) but that’s who I immediately thought of.
I wonder if they are relatives, may be brothers or something like that…They always walk together, slowly, slowly…
Your beatufil shots are always walked by woderful words.
Buenas tardes
Muchas gracias Max!»!!! Buenas tardes a ti también… 🙂

Thanks a lot Elizz..This is what I feel when I see them…
Felicidades.

I am so glad you like both! Thanks for stopping here!
You are amazing!
(When I saw your gravatar the first person I thought was Hemingway!)
A friend made that for me as a joke. It is Hemingway’s beard on my face. 🙂

This is such a wonderful photo. How wonderful that they go out.
They are always walking together…It is great they do not stay at home…
When my wife and I see a couple like that she will turn to me and say ‘Let’s be like that when we get old’
🙂 I would like to think it will only depend on us… Our wife, our husband, our brother, our last friend…The question is to have somebody to care and that will take care of us…
Beautiful! I can only hope that that is my husband and I one day.
🙂
How sweet, an enduring love. That’s rare at this time and age.
