  2. An ‘out of this world image’ ! – you created an extraordinary picture. It reminds me of a modern Eurydice following Orpheus out of Hades -but he did not resist looking back and he lost her forever…

    • Thanks a lot Lynne..I do it as well..The escalators were made to help old people to move through the Medieval part of the city…Now almost everybody uses them…I like the reflections and shades, because the sun hides just behind….

    • 🙂 🙂 Thanks a lot M! I just took this shot last week, while I was in my hometown….I love the escalators..You can see on my comments it is a new spot I have discovered lately! 🙂 🙂

  3. What a wonderful photograph! All the lines lead deeper into it and the twisting building structure is so strange and beautiful, especially as it recedes into the distance.

    • Yes!!! It is because of the lines, lights and shadows that I love these escalators…They look fabulous (to me) from the bottom and from the top, and at sunset they take all the Golden light…They look like different boxes one after the other, and slightly twisted…
I am glad you like it!

  5. what an incredible click! the architectural design of this escalator is so unique – it almost seems to be moving sideways, back and forth….. have never seen anything like this!

  6. Oh, what an interesting picture, Ilargia. I like the lines, the composition, and the black and white treatment. The solitude broke the severe lines of the building and architecture. Very nice.

    • Love your words and your critic..I like them very much!!! Thanks a lot Imelda…It is always so interesting to read and to listen to the other´s point of view…That is the good thing about blogging: sharing! 🙂 Have a great weekend!
