When we were Young and Happy….

When we were young and happy

We did not have that much…

Just the sun, the sea, the sand and the moon

and our hearts full of dreams…

But we were feeling so rich!!

Now we still have the sun and the moon…

Even the sea sometimes…

But our hearts are empy…

They drained with each beat through the years…

“Too late, too late, too late…”

Should we trust them?

Is there a time for dreams?

Magical Autumn…

This week, Sunday Still´s challenge is about Autumn: trees, colours, landscape…

I have been out with Sigh and Neo, looking for something special….But, somehow, I was unable to see wonderful and big trees, yellow and red leaves…Something that could help me to show the magic of the season to you, so far away from my home…

And then, suddently, something small caught my attention.. A black and common crow, making a lot of noises, and flying freely through the forest…

And then, I understood….

Magicfall

“The world is full of magic things, patiently waiting for our senses to grow sharper”

WB Yeats

I raised my eyes upward…

I thought I was immersed in one of my dreams…

Then I raised my eyes upward from the grotte

And I realized the dream was still going on…

In answer to Sonel´s Black and White Weekly  Challenge: ” Upward”

A surrealistic dream…

I had a dream…

I was a leg

Looking from above

Hanging on a blue slide

With no place to hide…

I wanted to run…

I tried to scream…

But…Where was my head?

I did not have one!!!!!!

I was a leg...

Reflections from the past…Smoke and mirrors…

This week Ailsa theme is quite singular…
Smoke and Mirrors…
There are people, books, films, situations…That try to embellish the truth…That try us to follow them…That try to close the eyes of our hearts and souls…
It is always up to us to decide if we want to stay, to listen to them…Or to cross to the other side of the river…

Reflection from the past...

…Because…Who knows? May be the other side holds the reality…
…May be we are just shadows wandering on the line between here and there… Between now and then..Between today and yesterday…
May be we are just Reflections from the past…

Sunday Post: Concept

Yesterday I took a picture in my garden…It was a small pink rose, the very last rose…

lastroseI  thought it deserved something special…And I started to play with its image, having in mind Jake´s challenge for this week: “Concept”…

During the XVIII century, a new movement was originated in Europe: Romanticism.

Among other things, free expression was essential to them…So, if I take “Concept” as something thought or imagined…This is my concept of a Romantic Rose,  of a black rose, of a magic rose…

My Concept of a  Romantic Rose…

WATER DRAGON POSTER

Oh! Nomination for the “Very Inspiring Blogger Award”!!!

I am happy….I have received a nomination for the “Very Inspiring Blogger Award”!

Here are the rules to follow:

1.- Thank the person who nominate you

2.- List seven things about yourself.

3.- Nominate fifteen bloggers and inform them.

Well…There are only three rules, but they are quite difficult…

First, I want to thank Coreen Kuhn, from Picture Perfect Memories for Life, for thinking about my blog…I  started blogging few months ago…And it has been a discovery to me..Having people surfing in the net , finding my place, and taking a moment to see my pics and read my thoughts …And then, me doing the same…

Sometimes I feel like a little sorgiña (witch in Basque)…..I go everyday to the computer and I look at the blogosphere like if it was my magical cristal ball… I have learned many, many things…I have visited many places…I have smiled and, even, sometimes, I have almost cried…

It is so difficult to choose 15 bloggers from that magical world!!!  So, first, let me ask your forgiveness if I do not name you…We all give our best to make this a better place… But here they are….And may be one of them can become one day a new friend to you…

And now, another tricky question: seven things about myself…

1.- I am a woman in my lattest forties…

2.- I live in a little village on the countryside…I have learned to love it, but my heart longs for the sea…

3.- I love travelling and reading; writing and taking pictures; Art and History…And, of course, C. and Sigh…

4.- When I was younger I was working with an NGO overseas for two years..It marked my life…

5.- I am a believer…I believe in God, in humankind, in family, in frienship, and in eternal love…

6.- I love music…I would love to be able to play piano and to compose wonderful tunes…But I do not play anything, I do not write songs and I only sing, very badly, on the shower.. (But, anyway, I love doing it!!! 😉 )

7.- Still wondering?…This is me…

Thanks again!!!

Escribiendo Con Siete Palabras Prestadas….
