«Quest for love»

I saw this boat in the Mediterranean waters…. And I liked the heart-shaped form in the front…. It opened my mind´s imagination…»Sailing through the Mediterranean waters, looking for his love…» Beautiful, isn´t it?

In answer to WPC: «Quest»

Good night to everybody!

«The end of the World…»

This is Torrevieja, a little Spanish town open to the Mediterranean Sea…

The seashore is full of these white benches, planted like seeds along the seashore…

People really like them, specially at sunset, when the red from the sunset plunges into the Mediterranean waters…

One can have the feeling one is just by oneself, close to the end of the World, where nothing really matters, only life and nature…

Transition…

This week WPC is about «Transition»...

I think a lot of us have had a hard week, so may be we deserve this…

I took this pic in January last year, in Torrevieja, in the East of Spain, Mediterranean coast… Sunsets over there are absolutely magical… Gold and pink, and red and warm… Even in winter there is something special about being by the Sea…

PD: I was just about to close this post when I found a link to a chill out music from a group I did not know before… Here is the link  to Arnica Montana: «Sea, Sun and Sea…» Grab a drink and relax…. That is the good thing about Friday´s nights…They are a transition on their own, aren´t they?

Have a great weekend!

Photo 101: Solitude

I have many many photographs where I can feel there is Solitude behind…But, today, I thought about this one I took this summer in Tarifa, Spain,…

She is just there, happy and comfy with herself, just looking at the Mediterranean…In Tarifa, just in this point, both Mediterranean and Atlantic meet…She could have chosen the Atlantic Ocean, but she sat in front of the calmer Mediterranean Sea…

Solitude in Tarifa

«Space around me where my soul can breathe

I´ve got body that my ming can leave

Nothing else matters, I don´t care what I miss

Company´s okey

Solitude is bliss»

(Tame Impala*. «Solitude is bliss», 2010)

Have a great weekend!

The last pink…

"Seagull and sunset.."
.

The Sun sighs..

One last glimpse to the white seagull…

Gliding over the sea…

Playing with the silver waves…

Suddenly a witty wink!

A kiss and a hug!

The Sun closes his eyes!…

And sky, and sea and seagull…!

Everything among his arms falls!!!

The Moon smiles…

She will wait a little bit…

Till it fades the last pink…

In answer to Frizz´s challenge: «Tagged P»

«Me and my Father…»

Today starts Frizz´s challenge…This week is «F», and I have been keeping this photograph I took last week…
I just simply love it… If you look closely, you can appreciate that little twist of the child´s body, looking for the strengh of his father…Both of them so close, looking at the Mediterranean Sea, probably talking seriously about the important things in life…
What do you think? (click on it…You will get a better feel!!!)

«Me and my Father…»

"Me and my father..."

«My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person: he believed in me»

Stillness…

In answer to Ailsa´s challenge: «Still«, I am going to use one of Torrevieja´s  images from last week…

When you see stillness in front of you seems that part of it goes into your soul…

Stillness

¡Qué quietas están las cosas! Y qué bien se está con ellas…

(Juan Ramón Jiménez)

My Colour….(WPC)

This week Cheri wants us to self analize…To make an exercise of introspective analysis and to come out with the color that reveals more about us…And to show it to the rest of the world, of course :)…

I remember reading in a book of Oliver Sacks a case about a man who was suffering from achromatopsia…He was able to see the world only in black and white…It was quite shocking to me, specially when he described the moments he had to eat…. Sometimes we do not realize how fortunate we are!!!!

We are used to see the yellow bananas, the red fire, the orange´s orange, the green lawn growing slowly in springtime…

And, if I had to choose one, I would choose the blue..Blue from the sky…Blue from the sea…Peaceful blue…
