«The end of the World…»

This is Torrevieja, a little Spanish town open to the Mediterranean Sea…

The seashore is full of these white benches, planted like seeds along the seashore…

People really like them, specially at sunset, when the red from the sunset plunges into the Mediterranean waters…

One can have the feeling one is just by oneself, close to the end of the World, where nothing really matters, only life and nature…

WPC: «Silhouettes»

«Running against the Sunlight…» (Torrevieja)

"Running against the Sunlight..."
.
What can you tell me?
It is just a silhouette…
I see…What else?
It is a boy…It is running…
There is a sea behind….

And you….What can you tell me?
I can feel the strengh…The youth…
I can feel the happiness….
It is a boy…
Running against the sunlight…

Sometimes there is more to see…

Life is Short-…..

So….Do not lose your smile…Do not lose hope…Keep walking…

«Sunrise in Torrevieja..»
"Sunrise..."

Starting next week I will return telling you all my adventures…
In general everything has been very cool…But there are a couple of bad news…I think now I am more or less ready to come back…
I can not promise I will be able to read all the old posts…But yes the new ones…

I am thinking may be this pic suits Ailsa´s theme for this week: «Horizon…»

What do you think???

Big hug to all of you…

«Quantum of Joy..»

With this picture I want to answer Frizz challenge: «tagged Q» and Jake´s «Children games»

I was in Torrevieja a  few days ago, and I saw this little girl so engrossed on her play….!!She did not mind she was alone…

I bet she did not think about that….

When one is a child, magic is everywhere!

I would like all of us to keep this precious capacity!

"Quantum of Joy..."

«I was like a boy playing on the sea-shore, and diverting myself now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.,…»

«The greatest glow of happiness…»

«When we recall the past, we usually find that it is the simplest things-not the great occassions-that in retrospect give off the greatest glow of happiness…»

Bob Hope

Happy together

When I saw this mother with her two children walking by the sea, my memories went back to my own childhood…I can not remember when I saw the sea for the first time in my life, but I remember having my mom near by…I also remember (how funny!) she knew I liked big hats, like one of the little children of the photograph…And that I enjoyed (and still I do!) playing and getting dirty with the sand…
I absolutely agree with the Hope´s quote…Happy moments glow in our minds…And, usually, they are made of simple things, colours, textures, smells… May be full of meaning only for us..And for all of those who love us!

Dedicated to all the Mums of the world…And in answer to Ailsa´s Travel Theme: «Glow»

Have a great weekend!

«The fisherman´s hand…» (original version)..

I would like to say thank you to all of you who liked yesterday´s post! And, for once, I am going to post here the original version of the same pic…

I think it is very powerful in colour…May be because it is monochrome, as one of my friends says…And to me, it is very difficult to choose between them!!!

"The fisherman´s hand (original version)

What do you think? Do you like it? Do you prefer the black and white version?

«Me and my Father…»

Today starts Frizz´s challenge…This week is «F», and I have been keeping this photograph I took last week…
I just simply love it… If you look closely, you can appreciate that little twist of the child´s body, looking for the strengh of his father…Both of them so close, looking at the Mediterranean Sea, probably talking seriously about the important things in life…
What do you think? (click on it…You will get a better feel!!!)

«Me and my Father…»

"Me and my father..."
